Can’t even open a sketch for free to view only? A friend of mine asked me to see what I thought of a design draft, but they sent it to me in a strange file format. They said I needed to download “Sketch” and I’d be able to see what it was about. As soon as I downloaded it and attempted to open the file, I was prompted to either log in, restore purchase, or sign up for a 30-day trial. I mean, with a file format that Apple even has downloads for on their developer webpage (mind you, an application that they DIDN’T develop), you should be able to see at least what files look like! Have you ever had to pay to see what a PDF looked like? Exactly.
