Okay mail client - Search feature stinks This app won the Apple design award in 2017, and that is probably about the time the team stopped putting effort into this app. I was a long time Postbox user, and I have been looking for a new email client. After trying many out, the one I have liked enough is Airmail because of ease of use. The interface is straightforward and intuitive. The app also has decent customizability under the hood. However, it lacks features like being able to open messages in tabs. By far, the absolute worst thing about Airmail is its search engine, it is terrible. The search is slow and very clunky. When you perform a search, the messages appear on a rolling basis as it populates the results. As you click on the results, the emails do not even match. It is very buggy, slow, and clunky. If the search feature was actually usable, I would rate this app much higher.
